Amethyst and Agate: Poems of Lake Superior

Nice Minnesota Public Radio story about the  Lake Superior poetry anthology  launch and reading in Duluth this weekend. It was a pleasure to meet Jim Pearlman, the other anthology editors and to meet and hear so many fine poets and artists who, like me, love the sweet water sea. Another highlight was the lyrical and inspired singing of Sara Thomsen .You can buy the anthology here .

Jeffrey David Boldt Replies to Jorge Luis Borges

My poem The North , intended as a response to  Jorge Luis Borges’  The South   (El Sur), has been accepted into a book that’s coming out this summer—called Amethyst and Agate: Poems of Lake Superior   to be published by   Holy Cow! Press . It was first published in The MacGuffin in 1990.
